How can I add a plugin to my WordPress blog?
I’ve started blogging on WordPress and want to add a couple plugins, but can’t figure out where in the dashboard to upload them. Where’s the correct place to navigate to? Does anyone know a dumbed down process for this? Thanks!
You are on the right track, but you don’t upload plugins through the dashboard. If you have FTP access to your website you should upload plugins to this folder:
/yoursite/wp-content/plugins/
Then when you go to the Plugins section of your Dashboard you will see the plugin listed and deactivated.
