Hardware Wars (2 of 2)
George Lucas said, “Hardware Wars is my favorite Star Wars parody”. When George Lucas created the world of Star Wars over 25 years ago, he also inspired an alternative world inhabited by the Original Flying Toasters, Deadly Waffle Irons and Hot Cinnamon Buns. A world called Hardware Wars. This is the acknowledged granddaddy of all Star Wars parodies and the first fan film from created by Ernie Fosselius and produced by Michael Wiese. A DVD with many hilarious special features is available from www.mwp.com

“Take it easy, kid. It’s only a movie.”
This is one of the GREATEST spoofs of all time!! My brother and I could recite every word….this is back when we had to steal cable from the neighborhood behind us because it was still so new…
I always wondered if you farted in light speed would the fart still travel at lightspeed? Or will it slow dow and remain in a constant gas like matter and end up creating a whole new planet?
“Enjoy intense drama in the exciting pre-battle briefing session.”
3:36 to 4:03 made the show for me! I loved this more than the movie.
beautiful. =]
Love it even after all these years.
There was a special expanded edition put out back when the original SW trilogy was re-released just before the prequel trilogy was. CGI effects were included, including a scene of a fleet of egg beaters flying around Yavin to meet the Death Waffle Iron for the climax. A thing of beauty.
Nobody can figure out what he’s saying. That’s the joke!

Tang! LOL
I saw this at the Kenosha, WI public library along with the making of Star Wars. I forgot how funny this is as I first saw it when I was 11. Thanks for the trip down memory lane!
I remember seeing this back when I was a kid watching Bob Wilkins on Creature Feature & Captain Cosmic. People lined up to see it at movie theaters in a long line like when Star Wars came out. 10 mins later, they came out, bought another ticket to see it again, and again.
