What most impressed me about Mati’s book was the simplicity of her explanations, which were usually accompanied by diagrams that show what items to select when setting up your blog. I highly recommend this book to anyone that wants to use the internet to share their ideas, opinions, or information with the world. This book will be useful to both the technologically challenged and those more familiar with publishing to the web.

I knew NOTHING about WordPress before reading Mati’s book and yet, with her book as my guide, I was up and running with a terrific blog in less than two hours (changing themes, this include adding a customer header, adding necessary plug-ins, and submitting my blog to Technorati, etc.)

Mati wrote in layman’s terms, answering questions of mine that I didn’t even know how to express. And ultimately saved me big $’s because I didn’t have to hire anyone to build my blog for me. Thank you, Mati!!

This is a brief and easy to follow introduction to WordPress. It flows smoothly from beginning to end. I wish I had this six weeks ago when I first started to dig through the plethora of information found on the WordPress site. I have only given it four stars since many of the protocols, particularly in the beginning chapters follow specifics that Mati followed during her learning curve. If you have already gotten by some of these introductory steps and have a site up, but not running well it is at times a bit difficult to plug back in.

This is a self published book that is well done and seems to be doing well. I applaud you for that, Mati.

    Hello Mati,

Have read through your book, and looks like the type of material presented, that would have helped me when I first tried to install WordPress. For anyone ready to perform a fresh new install, you hit it right on. Even picked up other hints that were new to me.

    Thank You
